For those of you who don't know Twitter.com:

You by no means HAVE to join twitter - we will still announce ALL software updated on the GS-911 forum and Announce list.. however so many of our GS-911 followers already use Twitter, that it makes sense to use it as an update medium... after all that's exactly what Twitter is for...

This will also have a little more detail to GS-911 related news... members of the GS-911-announce group, typically want as little as possible communication - they only want to know of software updates etc... while the GS-911 forum is intended for the same "announce" updates plus any BMW diagnostic related discussion...

We will thus be using twitter for more detailed, but not necessarily Diagnostic related updates..., like "BMW introduces a new version of Engine Controller to the CAN-based models, dubbed the BMS-KP2" etc...
