Homewardbound
Entry14 : Back in Beautiful ZA! Pristine roads... So all good things have to come to an end!

Mosambican beaches
Entry 13 : Mozambican beaches - sun and endless white, sandy beaches... as close to paradise as it gets!

Mozambique1
Entry 12 : Into Mozambique - the last country on our list, before we head back into South Africa... and definitely one I've been looking forward to... It's been pretty hard work to ride EVERY day, 4 to 8 hours, depending on the road conditions... and the Moz coast was going to be a bit of a relaxing vacation for us... but first we have to slog through some "serious pothole" ridden stretches (according to our tracks4africa maps).

Kenya_Tanzania
Entry 11 : We've reached Tanga in Tanzania on the shore of the Indian ocean, the most eastern point of our trip. Then south through the Mikumi park on our way into Malawi again - the white beaches of Malawi are magical and we don't mind spending some more time on the lake shore... especially Flame Tree Lodge!

Lat Zero - take two
Entry 10 : We've turned south, entered Kenya, crossed the equator again, and are officially heading home...

Burundi Rwanda and Lat zero
Entry 9 : Burundi, Rwanda and the Equator... A year ago I wouldn't have thought I would be crossing these! Rwanda really surprised us.

West Tanzania
Entry 8 : Into Tanzania, and up the B8 with our piki-piki (one description for motorcycle in Swahili, whether a 50cc scooter or a 1200cc BMW). What an experience!

Malawi
Entry 7 : Having turned back to Lusaka, half way to Malawi, homeward bound, I didn't think we'd get to see Lake Malawi - for sure not on this trip! However as things turned out we figured we would give it another shot!

A clutch is a clutch, is a clutch.. right?
Entry 6 : So we received our "new" used clutch on Friday, fitted it on Saturday morning, and by Saturday evening we were half way to the Malawi border.. however all is not well..

Zambia - shouldn't my bike have a clutch?
Entry 5 : We visited the Victoria Falls - magnificent! In Livingston I noticed my clutch deteriorating...

Okavango, Caprivi and into Zambia
Entry 4 : From Windhoek we set of east through Gobabis to the Botswana border post, to the Okavango Delta and into Namibia's Caprivi strip.

Oh joy... a puddle of oil!
Entry 2: Not the picture you want to see only a couple of days before your departure date! - Although you have every thing planned, inevitably something does not go according to plan... like that puddle of oil under my bike...
