gagsc-exhibit.jpg We exhibited GS-911 at the  GS Challenge.  We induced a fault on the HP2 that prevented it from starting... and challenged anyone to take a guess what was wrong... a difficult task without the proper diagnostic tool...

reading the fault codes with GS-911 quickly showed what was wrong...
gagsc-chris1.jpg here's Chris drooling over the new 450.  The bike was new and unused, and draped in some of Joel Smets' old plastics...
gagsc-stephan1.jpg of course I couldn't resist either...
gagsc-deon1.jpg and Deon Meyer (chief organizer of the GS Challenge) seemed quite taken by the little beauty too...
gagsc-frontsprocket1.jpg here we can see one of the interesting features of the new 450... the front sprocket is mounted on the swingarm pivot bolt, thus the chain retains a constant length and reducing stress and strain on the chain
gagsc-rearshock1.jpg  the interesting rear shock mount
gagsc-clutch1.jpg the clutch is also uniquely situated on the right crankshaft end.

Also shown is the Oxygen sensor, hinting at the closed loop control on this relatively small engine...
gagsc-top1.jpg here we see the air intake - nice and high on the top of the right side panel
