They already are! The newer R850 series with the round 10-pin diagnostic connector has the MA2.4 engine controller with Integral ABS or ABS2 and works well with the standard GS-911 interfaces, while the older R850 models have the MA2.2 engine controller... which needs the 3-pin interface.
How do you tell them apart? Easy... have a look a the diagnostic connector... if it has the round 10-pin diagnostic connector it is a newer model... if it has the blue 3-pin diagnostic connector it is an older model that will only work with the 3-pin interface...
